Write Up Trackday Wannabes - Cadwell Park

Well just got back from an excellent day at Cadwell Park. The weather was superb all day so the roof off.It was a really well organised with plenty of track time, really learned what the car can do. In the morning we were split into groups and I was with a Z3 Coupe, Mini Cooper Works and a 6 series. The 20 minutes per hour we were on track for seemed to go very quickly. To start with we followed an instructor car to learn the track and the best line through the corners. There were also a couple of instructors who who come with you and talk you round the circuit. The pace increased during the morning and in the afternoon we had 'free running' during which I was allowed to take Pauline as a passenger. We both had a excellent day so thanks must go to @Brian H for starting this thread off and getting me interested. Perhaps we could get a few more from the forum on the next one?

Nor me, I was at a 'Better Driving Day' event. Just happens to run at a track.

Thanks Brian, she didn't put a foot wrong all day and helped me through the 'S bends' when I arrived too fast on one lap. My instructor was Colin somebody, didn't know his surname. There was a lady there too.

Sounds like you had a cracking day! I'd love to have a go at this. Quite expensive for me, I'd have to ask for birthday and Xmas money and have a cute likkle savings pot next to my bed to pay for it. Cadwells only an hour or so from us. Pictures are great Dave. Wonder what's going on pic of the month??? Cadwell or driving through the water on the Welsh cruise!
