Mostly glued to the TV I guess. There some great ice cream places around these days, all part of diversifying for farmers.Just stopped off at Brymor ice cream on our way up to Leyburn in Richmondshire. You'd be hard pressed to find better ice cream .
Not seen any Z's about yet though!

No not been to that one Tony, will definitely give it a try. We used to go to bird auctions at Skellingthorpe many years ago.Not been to Blyton for a while to be honest mate even though it's only about 10 miles away. The nearest to us is Daisymade just off the Lincoln A46 by pass at Skellingthorpe roundabout if you're passing it's worth a visit Kev.
Sargeants at Hibaldstow was the only local one when we were kids.

Richmondshire is a district in North Yorkshire'Richmondshire' ? There must be an explanation!
We used to get the Sargeants van round on a Wednesday teatime out side our Ma and Pa's place. My late father-in-law bred Budgerigars years ago and had dealings with a National hero in Geoff Capes. To see a Budgie in those great big hands was amazing. No not been to that one Tony, will definitely give it a try. We used to go to bird auctions at Skellingthorpe many years ago.
I used to love Sargeants, they used to come round our villiage which was Scotton at that time. My dad knew Mr Sargeant fairly well and we often used to call in at Hibaldstow.
Someone else has bought the Sargeants ice cream , they have a show in Barton upon Humber but I have'nt tried them, don't want to spoil my childhood memories![]()

Mmm sounds a bit iffy Unicorn I think I'll go for the rum and raisin.Ice cream, eh? You'll be wanting one of Wesh Maids' Unicorn flavoured ones, then. Not really worth bothering with, tastes much the same as the normal Horse flavour. Just don't tell her over to the left.
