Great captions Frankie!! Love the pics are you sure that's the end?? We aren't ready yet!! JIM

Great last few pictures guys, the Mississippi bridge? photo of the year no doubt, Godfathers Pizza, what can you say?, and the Little Z on the prairie, all showing to a backing track of Duelling Banjo's. I am sssssssoooooooooooooo jealous boys. Many, many thanks.

Tony.
Looking back over this, the one picture I can't seem to get out of my mind is this one:

image-jpg.13422

Through out the trip, Hugh would constantly say to me: "Frankie, look at the cars in the parking lot (where ever we were at the time). Which car REALLY STANDS OUT?" As this picture at Hoover Dam illustrates, its the Z!!

^ that Brown Winnebago takes te cake for me!
Road trip in home comfort!!
Can just hitch the z on tee back and cruise on.

Can't get over the size of things there!!

The problem is that any old guy that has only ever driven a car can hop in one and head out on the road. Scary sh"^ !! you have see them trying to manoeuvre around a campground or gas islands!

I told everyone in the forum about an awesome Pic that you had taken and I think they were all waiting for it. Now I think they've all forgotten about it. It was the most amazing pic of a Zed I've ever seen. No picture like it has EVER been posted here. But you held it back. I am baffled. Are you saving it for some special occasion? If you are, I can understand it. You know which one I'm talking about. So, what gives? Frankie

Miller quote:' I'll put it in potm"....
What does this mean?
I think he means Photo of the month Frankie. This has to be some picture!

Tony.

We've all seen and loved American road movies, cannonball run, smokey and the bandit ,vanishing point, dirty Mary crazy Larry .This trip sometimes with a little imagination felt like a movie,We had a Dealer and a rustler flying across America to pick up a fast car and drive it back to a deadline calling at diffrent places along the way.we had races, police chases, iconic places, brake downs and hold ups ( sounds better than traffic jams) and a load of laughs ,I still can't belive I did it

Unreal.

Hugh posted it on picture of the month but I'm going to paste it here so I can tell a little about it. I hope he doesn't mind now that he's posted it first. He was sitting in the passenger's seat talking to me as an 18 wheeler was passing us. He suddenly pulled out the camera and started taking pictures. For a second, I thought they were of me but he pointed out the reflection and asked me to adjust my speed to get just the right reflection, and THERE IT WAS!!!!!
It is a still image of a moving image. Almost difficult to describe.....................You can see the speed we were traveling at the time of the photo by the turning truck wheel....................65...or 75 mph........(click on picture)

Speechless Frankie!

A once in a lifetime shot! I did my analysis and calculate your speed at 88mph, way below Hugh's 107mph clocking. JIM
