Am home,a huge thank you to everyone who made me very welcome today. It was good to put faces and names to avatars, and made today such a pleasure. Thank you all again and looking forward to next year....pix to follow

Well we're back home again so thanks to all for a good time.:D It was great to see old friends and make some new ones. As said before weather could have been better but it didn't dampen our spirits. Thanks to everyone who brought food, there were enough rolls and cake to sink a battleship...
Some (very similar to others) photos from me:

Well back home with one filthy car . Weather picked up to get to roof down for the majority of the way back.
Lovely to see everyone again, tried to say bye to everyone but very hard to find folks in such a big place.
A few pics of the day.

Won't see this again in a rush. Reggie parked next to the BMG wagon!

The girls may have been talking to me, thus the big smile. And I love the mini, I have one out back that @Shelly would have.

Great time had by all it seems.

Tony.

We really enjoyed our first Zed meet. It was nice to put faces to user names and hopefully it's the first of many.
Great day overall. I spent a lot of time in the museum trying to find information on my Dads old regiment and I'm happy to say I now know a lot more than I did before today. My Dad would never talk about his time in the Parachute Regiment, and the only info I had was that he was in Egypt 1955. Mom said he was with 5th Para but the timeline didn't match. After a bit of delving I'm pretty sure I've found them and he must have been in 15th Para. It's still not conclusive so I'll keep looking.

We're both looking forward to next weeks New Forest meet so hope to see a few more of you people

Looks like it turned out to be a good day in the end. Pity i had to miss it

We couldn't get there either Bill, bit of a trek, so we had some old and some new friends round this afternoon. This was the aftermath.:)

The Yeung Ling's were mine.;)

We're still in Duxford but looking forward to the drive home to Truro tomorrow. Google told me that it was 330 miles door to door but somehow knocked 20 miles off that total.

I'm not sure if we'll take the same route home but I'll decide once we set off
