Been wanting to visit this place for years,so on the way home from the Scottish trip today we went and had a look.
Apparently the owner is a bit of a misery and doesn't like photos being taken there......so I ignored that :snaphappy: :D.
Mind you the folk sat outside there didn't look too happy, one bloke turned his back and another guy has his head in his hands . Must have noticed how mucky the car was .
Some absolutely fab roads around there as well.

The road from there over the Moor to Whitby is a great drive Steve, with Fish and Chips at the other end too.

Tony.

ps. Probably that boy racer exhaust upset them;)

We gave Whitby and the coast a miss unfortunately mate but we went on some ace roads over the moors, single track mostly, very scenic :).

P.s @t-tony the exhaust sounds lovely going through little villages etc,the noise bounces back off the buildings and the popping noise on the over run is addictive :D.

Nice shot Steve.
Cheers Tec,got some decent photos on the camera of the Aidensfield Arms and a few other things they used in the programme.
I'll add them once I've got them off the memory card.

Trust you!! Going to tell the local farmers to get theirs locked up before next Sunday Mozz =))=))

Tony.

Great pic .
I got one too taken there, in mi Z3 .
Must dig it out .
Are the sheep still roaming free around there.:baa.
Baaaaa
I remember seeing the photo of you in a Z3 there Moz, it must of been you that upset the garage owner all that time ago .

We had a day up there years ago with our Carla Steve. When we went to Whitby she was determined to climb all the 199 steps up to the Abbey from the harbour side without any help from Dad, and she did it too. Bless her.:)

Tony.

One part of the country I have yet to visit, must rectify that. :)

This was a lovely little spot, unfortunately you can't see the stream just in front of where Sara is stood and the ford (water) to the left.

That A35 was on the ramp when we went there Steve. Can't get the staff obviously;)

Seems a shame it being sat there like that, looks a lovely old motor.
I gave the miserable old boy your number, as you're used to working for a miserable gaffer (at Tanvic).
He said would you mind if he reversed the charges when he rings you :arghh:, I said no worries that'll be fine ;).

Chance'd be a fine thing mate.:) TT is probably coming to a demise for me soon. Had enough now.:(

Tony.

That police car has been parked there for years too.

Used to go there before the Heartbeat days, much nicer and quieter then. Just up the road is a village called Beck Hole, the road in & out is 4 in 1 , the old Mini used to struggle with that. It was also the last place in England to receive a TV signal (1989)

Nice photo's Steve. We go every year when we do our annual pilgrimage to York.
Here's me outside the garage a couple of years ago. Jill says I look like a proper thug with my growly face =))
