Yet another great weekend with fellow Zedders; @EnthuZiaZT, @Macca & @MaryMac and @zedster4 AKA Mike & Sandy, Richard & Mary and Barry. Our visitors arrived on Friday afternoon and for tea enjoyed Mint's Spag Bol and Mrs Mints (legendary) Apple Crumble washed down with some wine & beer. After bacon rolls on Saturday morning we headed off into our usual playground, The Peak District. Out via some lovely Staffordshire villages to our first stop at Carsington Water then onto Longnor for lunch. Suitably refreshed we then headed down to Ilam Hall tea room for our final stop. Sunday started with a cooked brekky at a local cafe then up to the Old Hall Hotel for lunch. Saw Bill & Kim while we were there. Our last stop was at Tissington Tea Rooms where we said goodbye to Richard & Mary and Barry. Finally we went out for a very enjoyable curry on Sunday with Mike & Sandy.

So thanks for everybody for coming, it was a great weekend, good company, good driving roads and good weather. Couldn't ask for any more. Here are some pics:

Great outing by all accounts - and great photos too!:)

Looks like a good weekend :coolsteer)

Nice pics of them all lined up as well.

Good to see you're sharing your playground Dave .
Luckily the weather was on side for you .
We were up that way Friday late afternoon, went through the tunnel at Wetton to listen to the difference in sound with the new exhaust :D.

Those E89's are a nice shape especially in red.

Edit : Dave were you trying to plough a field with your front spoiler  ?.

Great pics Dave and I recognise some of those locations ;) Having a bit of trouble judging the front end are we?

The quality of the roads up there is somewhat questionable, that's why Dave had to lead, he led us down roads hardly passable to a Landrover, yet alone an E89, so he used his Z3 as a tractor to level the road more, so our Z4's could pass unhindered.:ymdevil:

Truly a wonderful weekend and I'm sure the others will agree, so nice to see the Mints again, Dave and Pauline did us all proud. Well done, Guys!!!:scorecard:

Will add pictures later, as we have only just got home!

Haha yes I know what you mean about some of the roads on @Mint's cruises,we've most likely been on the same roads or should I say green lanes with Dave and Pauline. That's partly why I didn't lower my zed when I and @t-tony replaced the suspension.
Great fun though .

The old Z3 leading the way for the Z4 love it, car Ok Dave?

Nice work mints. Keeping the EAC busy! Looks like a nice time was had by all. I have a feeling I may know that green lane???? o_O

Yes Steve, but Dave's pictures only show the "A" roads he took us on,

Thanks Dave and Pauline for a lovely weekend. It was a real treat for us people from the Fens to see such beautiful views. We had a great time and you were both wonderful hosts. I'm sure that Richard will soon get round to posting some photos.

Yes, I'm afraid some of the roads, sorry tracks we were on had some grass growing in the middle....just a bit longer than last time hence the ploughing look. Luckily no damage to the bumper:thumbsup:
