What have you bought for your Zed this week?

After seeing one on here during the week I had to get one 😁

No comments on the seat covers please, unless you ewe really need to.

Maybe you can see my third prize in @Zephyr competition too.. ;)

What are those two above the fire missile button. Oh , I know, top one is passenger eject, and bottom one driver eject..or maybe gentle eject and forceful eject, gentle eject for when the roof is down, forceful for when it's not..Not sure I don't have them on my Z...

AirCon fix...fingers crossed! Had condenser pipe connection seals replaced and pipes cleaned, gas recharge £100 all in. V happy if that's sorted it!

Update...still no leaks. Was leaking clearly last time I had a recharge.

This thread has gone a bit quiet😁
I needed to take my seats out to redo the bushes again (don’t ask) ..so thought I’d give the leather a bit of a spruce up. After 110k they were beginning to show some wear. Deep clean first then some Furniture Clinic Repair Paint in BMW Oregon black. Very pleased with the result.

Lovely refurbished electroplated front calipers

I've hand painted them to match the rear calipers I had refurbished last year by Bigg Red

The service was very quick from posting off to getting them back (including weekend when they don't work) took 9 days.
Work including removal of one snapped bleed screw, stripping, cleaning, electroplating and rebuilding with all new parts including bolts, bleed screws, pistons, seals etc.
They are just like new. My indy priced up new OEM M calipers - £370 each (only one available at the time in Germany). Cost of refurb - £184 for the two calipers.

Bought a new differential cover since my old one had a crack.

A bit odd: while it is impossible to find a used cover in good condition for less than 180 € here in Germany, they are still available from BMW with the bearing already fitted for 235 €. Even more strange: the bearing itself (for 3.0) costs more than 200€. Sometimes I simply don't get that price policy... :bashhead:
