Write Up Wentworth Wodehouse Classic Cars 17052025

£90 for 2 (you can buy 1). Which I think is pricey, but . . . They are really sturdy. All other ones seem to have plastic joints which fail after a while. These are metal, I see I bought them in July 2021 and still fine . . .

Only just fit an E89 boot mind . . .
Cheers. Space isn't a problem for me; fishing gear would never fit in an E89, I take my Audi avant (I don't have an E89 anymore anyway).

Some from me - a great venue and a good turn out but the logistics were woeful (massive queue on the road to get in) and the £6 sausage sandwich was cold.

Some of those engine compartments are spotless, would certainly give @andyglym a run for his money;)

It may be that I am getting old, but I find a Mk11 Cortina much more interesting than any modern Italian or German exotica these days.

Must be the nostalgia kicking in. I find myself looking at 'Stags and Jags' for sale rather than 911s now.

As I walked around the show I looked at the Z4M coupe and thought it's nice but it just blended in with everything else.

That's when I realised for me it's become less about the performance, technology and aesthetics and more about the experience.

Weather asside I reckon that's why I currently prefer the E89 over the E86 - with the top down element being a big part of the experience.

Of all the cars I looked at yesterday the 1927 Alvis 12/50 SD is the one I came away wishing I could have driven - that's the first time I've ever thought that way about a car of that era.

Guess it's true what they say - "the only constant is change"

That Red Vette looked lovely.
They are kinda marmite but it's the interiors that usually look tatty/tacky. That one looked mint.
They represent pretty good value really as there were so many made the bits aren't too pricey.
