A huge thank you to @Bazza, @Oldguysrule, @Lee and @Shortie_gal, [Barry & Jan, Trevor & Toni, Lee & Sam] for making the long trip up North to stay with us at Mint Towers for a weekend of chat/food/drink/banter/laughter and driving a couple of Mints' Peak District Cruises.
The weekend kicked off on Friday night with a meal with Bazza & Jan down at a local pub. Lee & Sam, Trev & Toni arrived a bit later for some cups of tea.;)

After a good nights rest most enjoyed bacon breakfast rolls provided by @Mrs Mint. @Bozzy & @Mrs. Bozzy (Steve & Sara) came over to join us for our first drive out in the Peak District. A drive through some lovely Staffordshire villages and onto the edge of the Peaks arriving at our coffee stop in Cromford. After tea/coffee and a cream tea (yes at 11:00am, you know who you are=))) we set off to our lunch stop up by Hope Valley. Afternoon coffee at Ilam Park and then on to Mint Towers. This year @Mrs Mint provided a great Chilli and some of her famous apple crumble all of which was washed down with a glass (or two) of wine.

Up early again on Sunday and a similar brekky as Saturday. @Nodzed (Niall and Ali) joined us today for our trip out, a different route to yesterday. Morning coffee at Newton House, lunch was at the High Peak Bookstore and afternoon coffee at The Pudding Room.
A curry finished off the day very well and on Monday we all went to a local cafe for breakfast before saying goodbye to the southern crew.

It has been an absolutely superb weekend with great company, great laughs, great roads, great food and drink and pretty good weather, tops down all weekend:thumbsup:. What more could you ask for...

We must do it again sometime...……………………..

What a fantastic two days of zedding, a big thank you for letting us join you.
Two excellent routes you put together again, must have took a lot of plotting and planning, which paid off as it all ran like clockwork .
Great to see the the gang from south of the border again made us feel very welcome :).

Nothing personal Dave. You know from your own experience the sort of roads my cruises go on. Six cars is my maximum, that's why this weekend was not advertised on the open forum.
