We had a couple of visitors yesterday...........................................

Dave very kindly came round to give me some tutoring on using the tyre route planner and of course a good old catch up with Pauline as well :).
Just need some time to play about on the tyre thingy now ,hope my memory is up to speed  but it does look a very good thing to have access to, it'll save Sara hours of map reading whilst on the move in the car, which should earn me a few brownie points .

So after the lesson ,a cuppa and a natter we went off on our Vale of Belvoir run but with some different roads mixed in,thanks to a closed road and Sara's map reading and navigating skills :rally:.

Lunch stop at Belvoir castle :hungry:......and a pic of @Mint taking a pic :snaphappy:.

Unfortunately we didn't stop for any more photo's because we got too engrossed in enjoying the lovely fast flowing and strangely quite roads, can't remember seeing any horses on the road and very few cyclists :).
Dave said the route we did would make for a good forum cruise ,so you never know I may put something together at some point.

Another thoroughly enjoyable zeding day spent in great company and it was nice to see @Mint in the rear view mirror for a change  .

Thanks again D+P for the get together :)

Steve

That may be something I need to look into Steve. I've no idea how to put a route on a map. Will soon have a "list" of the route for Sept. 10th. (TENTH !!!) :)

Tony.

I think @Mint needs to hold a teaching session for that route software...

I shall give myself some homework I think mate and look into it.

Ha yes, back to my old job.

It's very useful for route planning, takes a bit to get to know it but I think it's great
