Thank you very much Tony, Shirl, and all the group leaders for a very enjoyable day out. Also really nice seeing some familiar faces, as well as meeting some new Z'ers.

When we got a couple of miles down the A1 we caught up with the rain, but I think it was just the tail end of the storm. By the time we got to Ramsey, it was clear the storm had caused a bit of havoc...

Just home and sipping a cup of tea. We’ve driven through torrential rain at 17 mph, seen debris from trees covering the road, just like Armageddon.
A big thanks to Tony and Shirl for organising a perfect Zed day out, even if Yocky did turn up in an F type Jag, and one team was lead by a Lotus. Shirl’s chocolate chip cookies are to die for and recommended for all future cruises.
Perhaps the best treat of all was catching up with all the people we’ve missed for the last four years and meeting a few new ones as well.
