It was a great drive Bill, loved the twisty turny road and the views were superb. I did have to stop for a coffee/tea before we did the Grand Ballon as a certain party couldn't keep her eyes open. Didn't want her to miss that!

In all fairness it was an old bloke who missed his footing and just steadied himself with one hand on the bonnet. Rather him get his balance that way rather than fall over and damage the Zed sorry I mean himself.Sorry hadn't read above posts. You'll have to plump for the standard train next time then guys. Shortish day today from Mulhouse, France to Oberwald, Switzerland. Swiss motorway first thing then turned off to do a couple of passes. Sustenpass then Grimselpass. Absolutely stunning scenery, 
but it was very busy over Sustenpass. Some of the bikes were taking big risks, not only with their lives but others as well. Couple of photos…
Just to show it's not only diesels that can do 50mpg…

We've had a couple of moments with bikes but to be fair the car driving seems to have improved ten fold since our last couple of visits. Maybe they've put the fines up!
