Well the forecast was right, even from last Wednesday it reckoned today was going to be a clear, but cold day. It would have been rude not to go out on the first cruise of 2017. A quick PM to @Bozzy Steve & Sara to see if they wanted a run out....silly question really:whistle:. We met at good old McDonalds at Uttoxeter and headed up into the Peak District via some A roads, B roads and single track lanes. Some of the sheltered lanes were still icy which kept the Stability and Traction Control systems busy. A quick detour off our route up to Weaver Hills as the visibility was superb. Back on route and a quick toilet stop at Longnor before Millers Dale, Tideswell and arriving at The Old Hall for lunch. After soup and a sandwich we then headed off around the usual Hope Valley loop taking in Winnats Pass, Mamtor and Edale back to Hope. Then on to Grindleford, Hassop, Bakewell and finally Tissington Unfortunately the Tea Rooms were closed so we said our goodbyes and headed home. A fantastic roof down day with great company, thanks Steve & Sara. My task today was to get @Bozzy's car as dirty as mine was to start with. A few pics to show what a great day we had.

Beautiful photos / scenery - what a reasonable Winter so far!

Looked to be a great day for Zedding pity we had to do our usual visits to the grandkids before we go back to work or we would of been tempted to get out
