Write Up The Lakes & Yorkshire Dales Tour 2022

Just a few snaps to add to those already posted. Lovely views first thing from our hotel balcony and cars at the hotel, the alarm clock(wanted to wring his neck at 5 am) and the obligatory pint plus sea view.
 
I would like to add our thanks to Andy and Yvonne for all the hard work involved in organising this year's Lakes and Dales Tour. It was absolutely superb :scorecard:. Great routes, great company and the weather was with us [most of the time] :thumbsup:. Lovely to meet up with old friends again after a couple of years off due to Covid and great to meet up with some new peeps. We can now put faces to forum names.
No photos from me this time, as like you Andy, I was very busy looking behind counting Zeds making sure we were all together.
Overall a brilliant weekend, thank you, 'till the next one.

What a stunning weekend!!! Thank you so much @andyglym and the C in C Yvonne, for all your hard work, time and trouble you took to make things go smoothly for the rest of us. We do appreciate it mate. Two fantastic days of top down driving on fantastic roads in fantastic cars. Linda and I would also say a big thank you to @Stevo7682 and Lynne for keeping all of us in group 3 in line. It was great to see some old friends and meet lots of new ones. Thanks for your company, we really enjoyed it. Hopefully see you all next year.

Thanks very much Andy and your good lady for a fantastic weekend , a lot of effort goes into making that possible. Also big thanks to Dave for taking group 2 and Stephen for taking group 3 .

Finally arrived home at 1.30 from our glorious Lakes and Peaks cruise. A grand total of 1,065 miles covered. Well done Bluebird, you smashed it.
A big thank you to Linda, my co-pilot throughout. I actually think she enjoyed large parts of our tour, and there was very little passenger seat braking; Bonus! As said in previous posts, a big thank you to @andyglym and Yvonne, @Stevo7682 and Lynne and also @Jjim and Alicia for leading us down to the peaks. We've had a great 6 days. Thank you one and all. Evening all, reminiscing, sat in the garden with wind down wine! This time last week, we were on our way to lot's of miles, but way more smiles. Pleasure to meet everyone, loving the pic's and vids and again a big thank you to Andy and Yvonne for putting the tour together. A great success 😁
