Write Up The Lakes Tour 2017

next time booking a weeks stay see the sights
A week is nowhere near long enough. I could spend months up there. So many places to see. So much to do!

super week end could not ask for a better venue or leaders super fantastic stevo/andy sure i sat a few inches higher when the z hand brake would not hold but i bought spare pants sorry paul
Was memorable seeing you rolling back towards me shouting it just wont go! :nailbiting:

Just arrived home (the long way, top down of course) after a great weekend. Many Thanks Andy, exceptionally well organised again, and Steve for leading us all throughout the day. Just a few pics need to sought through and post later, did leave jacquie alone with the camera so editing a must.

Like to add our thanks to Andy for arranging the tour. Enjoyed meeting up with faces, new and old.
Will check our photos to see if we have any that contribute to the story, but we had several very able "flashers" to record the event, so there may not be many.
Stayed over and drove Honister Pass and the northern Lakes in the morning before heading home over Hartside Pass (a fast 2 lane twisty road, much loved by bikers).
336 miles covered and not a beat missed.
What's the date for next year @Andy McDonnell ?

Cheers Andy for a well organised cruise and thanks to Steve our group leader. It wes nice to socialise with new people in outstanding scenery oh and the sun helped. Cheers again all and hope to catch up soon.

Just the one photo from me as most of mine are similar to many already posted.

This is where our group was held up where it was difficult passing a car and a van coming the other way. We stopped and waiting patiently, some pulled as close to the roadside as they could and we reversed into the access to a property. Unfortunately the to**er in the Merc behind wasn't so endowed with patience and he came passed us all......you can just see him stuck at the top of the hill.

Great pics mate

We were fortunate to stay for an additional night, so, this morning, we went over to Consiton Water nd drove up the east side of the lake (yes - I know it isn't called a lake, but what do you call it. It's somewhat more than a puddle...)
