I collected him from hospital on Tuesday and dropped him off at home. Arm in a sling for another 6 weeks and a neck brace until further notice but probably 6-8 weeks. At least he can be uncomfortable in his own bed. :hellsangels::eek:

The three patients in Macau and the team of doctors who worked miracles on all three. Ben is on the right, Andy on the bed is from The Isle of Man and Sophia is from Munich. Her father asked for no photos on public forums so I have edited her face which is a pity as she is lovely.

Great to see Ben relatively unscathed and back home after that crash. Goodness knows what went through his head in the split seconds going into the corner following his drop there in 2013 and Hegarty's crash there last year.

Like all racers, am sure it'll be shrugged off as the urge to get back in the saddle grows.

That F3 crash was horrendous. What caused the car to be heading into the corner backwards at that speed?

Wheel to wheel contact. That's the big danger with open wheel racing.

Tony.
