Order books are closed in the UK as far as I know after a discussion I had with the dealer last weekend.

Does anyone know a place in Wales where I'd be able to get it out of second?
At north of £60k I've no clue how I'd get it out of the showroom never mind in to 2nd gear 🤣

Cwmbran, south wales. All of the roads from the outskirts into the town centre, through and out the other side are still all 30MPH. So to get from one part of town to the other you can do mostly at 30. Only when you come off these roads into the actual residential areas does it go down to 20.

The wales-wide 20mph rules had a lot of flexibility but Cwmbran obviously had the cash to spend on the 100's of new 20/30 signs that were required on every junction.

Other town's were too lazy or too tight to implement it sensibly so took the easy route of no-signs-equals-blanket-20 where most people simply ignore it.

The thought of close to 400 horses trundling through town centres, whether at 20 or 30, doesn't fill me with anticipation.
Of course you're right. But in the same way 400hp is pretty pointless on any road, including motorways.
And I've been to Cwmbran. Twice. The second time was to make sure I never needed to go there again.
It took you two visits? Most people know after just one. :p

3 litre Z3 pretending to be Italian exotica. Two previous E89 Z4s.

The G29 weighs the same as a small HGV, so 380bhp is all relative. And at 1,000rpm it will be making about 5 of those. ;)

Don't bother in Bridgend area or Swansea- blanket 20mph , motorway is even 50 mostly to improve air quality, opposite the steel works...go figure. Steel works has now stopped operating. Welsh Gov will no doubt say the reduction in speeds has helped improve air quality forgetting about the elephant in the room

You can't accuse me of not making sure, can't judge a book by its cover etc. When the cover looks like Cwmbran, though...........

the elephant in the room
Elephants on the M4 won't help traffic flow. And, having had many years of dealing with the "emissions" from horses, there's going to be an awful lot of deeply unpleasant stuff to drive through. @andyglym had it bad enough with cows.
