Write Up The Derbyshire/Notts Cruise 23/08/2015

Jayne & I had a great day out. Many thanks to @Grumpy and @jue1 for organising, you guys did a great job, fabulous routes. The Mrs said she was happy we didn't choose the fast group as she'd have not wanted see how fast they went...................we left the tarmac a couple of times!! :racecar: .........................slow group my @r$e.

I had the soup and the Fish & Chips, both of which were excellent.

Can't wait to see @BMBabe 's videos, these should be very special.

I love that pic of Jue @Redline and thanks for your kind words. I am genuinely touched.
Thanks again.
No thanks needed - if it has brought a smile then that is thanks enough ;-)

Trust me when I say that really was the slow group! I never speed in built up areas but will usually have a little play on a nice open stretch of country lane if safe to do so. I think i will put you out will Bill next time and you can see what fast is! We did it on our first cruise and as much as I like Bill he terrifys me lol! Never again!!!

Throw in a bit of relativity and time dilation effects then you could claim you were virtually stationary

Take it from me, the fast group lived up to its name.....now just to wait for the collection of brown envelopes to fall through my door....

"It was Bills fault your honour, I was under duress....there was a bee in my cockpit....I needed a pooh....and I temporarily mistook myself for a jet plane"

A few pics from today's meet. Thanks to Grumpy for organising todays run out. It turned out just great despite the apocalyptic weather forecast we had a few days ago. Roof down all morning and some great roads and a good lunch to boot.

Sadly the clouds rolled in so we called it a day after lunch (which finished nearer tea time!). It rained all the way home, but annoyingly, its now fine.

Most of the pics are before we set out. The seventh is about 300m after we started and a wrong turn! A couple of us stragglers got split from the main group because of traffic at this point but we caught up at the first stop. It wasn't us that pulled the tree down for the following fast group though - honest!
Love those pics @Redline
the ones of Dave and Jue are really good :scorecard:

Nice lol! 60+30=90mph!

That was an conservative figure - as I had the advance audio warning system..

50 Mph - you know you going down an single track road
60 Mph - thats it - this is scaring the sh!t out of me
