A great run, thanks to all involved. It was great to catch up with several old faces. A fairly good trip home, the rain wasn't too bad.

Real good turn out for Tony’s mem/run with no one getting left behind or getting lost. Route I considered was probably one of the best sorted I’ve ever had the privilege to be part of. Only one thing missing but sure he must have been there with us and not just in our thoughts, missed him as I’m sure you all did but just think, if he hadn’t started helping all comers and leading us around that lovely part of Lincoln most of us wouldn’t be friends, Thank you Tony for getting us all together.( said with a frog in my throat ) same again next year would be the icing on the CAKE. “What do you think

Tony would have loved this. Gutted that I couldn’t make it, but as I’m currently writing this from a hospital bed it wouldn’t have been possible. Make it an annual event?

Just to reitterate what has already been said - what a great little ride out and wonderful to meet so many people old and new - sorry I didnt get chance to speak to everyone but I am sure that Tony and family will have been proud of the turn out for him.

Thanks all for organising it - great roads and scenery, a nice plesant drive in the sunshine. We must definitely do it again...

I hope everyone got home safe and sound, and hopefully see you all again soon

Glad you’re back home safely. Today’s photos make for interesting viewing but not the snail pace drive back.

Not sure what they were doing to the sculpture, but it looked like they fitting wind rotating propeller blades but couldn't be certain.

The plane that crashed there, only had 2 engines working, limping back after a raid.
