Hi All
What fabulous weather we all had with our tops down, that is Duncan + Blue Z3, Michael & Rachel + Z4 on our drive from North Devon to Al-Fresco's Dartmouth.

We encountered mist with the sunrising on the horizon giving the most spectacular views of the semi autumn trees with all colours of leaves, just such a beautiful sight as we drive through Hatherleigh on way to Oakhampton.

We arranged to meet at Trago at Mills layby, the three of us pull up and not a car in sight then from around the corner comes a bright red Z1, Z4 and a Z3 completely taking over the whole of the lay-by.

Unfortunately whilst we were all chatting away a rather large doubled decker bus would have preferred to have park in the bus stop that we had decided to park in LOL :bashhead:

We all had a fabulous brunch at Al Fresco's and then decided to have a small mini cruise to Widecombe In The Moor, and from there to Bovey Tracey. Here we stopped at the House of Marbles which is highly recommended with it's Museum and really nice coffee shop were we had a brilliant cream tea (Yes on the last day of November) we were eating scones jam and clotted cream in such mild weather :scorecard:

I must apologise for the quality of my pictures as I had accidentally changed the settings so they are not very sharp and rather poor.

I was lovely to see you all and such fabulous company.

A BIG thank you to the following for attending this Annual Event !!

JR + Z4 from Stafford
Ian & Hillary + Z1 from Kingswear
Richard + Z3 from Plymouth
Michael & Rachel + Z4 from Instow (N.Devon)
Bruce + Z3 From Torquay
Duncan + Z3 Bideford
Steve my passenger in Filbert.

Hi Hazel, looks as though you guys were as lucky with the weather as we were last Saturday for our sons wedding. Better luck with the photo's next year. Great to see Z1 with the 3's and 4's. Happy you all had a great day.:)

Tony.

I remember eating at Al Fresco's about 17 years ago on a family holiday - great to see it's still going strong. Having decided to keep my Z and put some effort in over the winter I hope to join in next year :)

@Nutty_Hazel - Looks like you got a great turnout :D I'm really gutted I missed this, had a really boring day on the sofa instead :( I needed some fresh west country air in my lungs!

Hi @GazHyde missed you too, had stunning day with such awesome weather and fabulous views.

I think being escorted into Dartmouth by Ian & Hillary in their Z1 completed our day with roof and, doors down. :scorecard:
In my book this beats being escorted into Silverstone by a Maserati :)

As a new member to the Zroadster.org website and my first post, I would like to say a BIG thank you to everyone that came down to Dartmouth for making Hilary and myself feel very welcome. We had a great day driving around the moors and the weather could not have been kinder to us with our roofs down. The car has had a wash and wipe down ready for the next outing.
Once again thanks for a great day out and look forward to seeing you all again soon.
Ian and Hilary.

I'm tempted to emigrate!!
What? Wait all that time again for your Z3 to be imported! Yikes, but you can always ride shotgun in mine if you have to wait :)

That's actually Trinity's car when she graduates so would definetly need to buy one there! I don't think she'd let me bring it along, she loves it and wants to learn how everything works and just loves being in the shop.

Hey Jim, there is a " retirement" village over the road from me, we don't get snow (much) and the local pub is within easy walking distance too. Can you play darts? What could be better?:)
