Hi All

Apologies for the delay with this, overtaken by work unfortunately. I have posted some pictures I took over the weekend for anybody interested.

Great event, thanks to SamB for organising us. Sorry you could not make it Stacey, next time I hope.

Some cracking pictures Rob, thanks once again for sharing mate.

Tony.

Ha, that’s a coincidence, I used to own the blue tr6 in the 12:19 group of photos. GRC 3N. Lovely car then and still looks good. Sold it about 10 years ago. One of those when you look back you wish you had kept!

Yes that was a lovely TR6, I have a few cars I wish I had kept also.

I recognised one of those rare Sterling Grey E85 taken from above!

Tony.

Great pictures there Rob, you got even further out looking around than I did. I probably spent too much time talking with people wanting to talk about the Black M Coupe of mine as they came down the pedestrian access bridge and it was the first car they spotted. Must have explained about how to do sill/wing removal and inner sill refurb (had photos to illustrate) at least 5 times over the weekend.
Some great cars you took pictures of there.
Talking of cars you wish you still had, mine are a 1966 Black MGB GT with chrome wires (reg KTG 171 D, I look for it every show I go to) and a 1983 Diamond Black BMW M635, last seen for sale in Straight Six magazine (BMWCC) a few years ago going for a lot more money than I sold it for.

I guess you see my favour colour scheme. :D

Highlights of the weekend for me were:-
1) Being in the auction room to see the 1 of 17 Project ZP ex Tommy Sopwith Equipe Endeavour Jaguar E Type go from starting price of £670,000 to selling price of £925,000.
2) Seeing/hearing the BRM V16 GP car blasting round the circuit, fantastic.

Look forward to next year.
