Thank you for a lovely day Tony @Lazzzydog , really good drive in the countryside. Not warm but good that the rain held off.

Shame about the suicidal pheasant :(, new grills required .

I am glad that you had a good day despite the suicidal pheasant. That was really bad luck.

It was really good to meet some new Zedders and familiar faces from previous events today. Many thanks for coming along and braving the cold with some top down driving. Special thanks to Nial, Tony and Jim for leading the groups and Peteslag for leading for a few miles at the end. We had a bit of queueing for drinks and food at the halfway stop but it provided a good opportunity for a natter.
For my part I learned a few lessons should we decide to do it again next year.

I was thinking something like that when it happened Grumps ;)

It could have been far worse if it had gone under or over the bumper. At least the grills took the brunt of it, although the bumper will need some realigning.

We thoroughly enjoyed the evening's company and blast around the Shropshire countryside, Great route BTW.
Sorry, didn't stick around too long at Cosford as wanted to grab some dinner on the way home.

Excellent day cruising Shropshire, what a tidy County, impressed by the villages and towns we went through and the roads inbetween were very good for the Z. End at Cosford was also good felt my age when I saw some of the aircraft I had flown in, oldest was the Hastings newest was the Nimrod. Thanks for the amazing day.
 
Yes thanks Tony, very well organised route at a steady pace. There was chance to put your foot down if you wanted but nice and controlled all the way through. I almost went into the back of you on the staggered junction though :oops: I’ll try and find the footage.

My zed hasn’t been on a long run for a while so it’s done it some good, a great turn out and fantastic day!
 
Thanks to Tony for organising a great cruise. Linda and I really enjoyed it. Thanks to @Nodzed for leading our group. Some great driving to be had around here. It was great to meet some new friends and fellow Zedders.
 
Great day Tony in Guilford at moment ang says we not far from Newcastle upon Tyne....wetherspiins quiz night here is great... Been a long day and lots of beers...flowing.... @Phil Baxter is going to wake us up in the morning.. Thanks tony for sorting this the Welsh team owes. You a cruise back shortly .

Thanks Alan, if you are anywhere near Newcastle on Tyne you took a wrong turn somewhere!=))
