Wow! What an epic trip you all had! I’m feeling quite envious :meh: No seriously though, what a fantastic experience.
I must keep my eye on the next one that happens, just awesome, well done all.

Next years Scottish run already in early planning stages look out around Christmas for announcement and details.
Next years run is the 5th Scottish run and is always popular due to places we tend to be numbers are usually limited.
Stephen.

A short clip of the climb up Applecross, note the plonker parked in a passing place to play with his drone. Excuse the background music, it is a collection borrowed from Claire.

Awesome, thanks @Stevo7682 . Who do I contact/how do I get on board at the time?
Cheers
John.
PM me if you prefer, I don’t want to block this thread up and spoil people’s enjoyment of it.

I feel slightly embarrassed and think that I might have to hand in my M card. I managed to get 35.9mpg from Fort William to Glasgow.

The whole trip was 26.1mpg. The Skye day was 23.7mpg and Applecross was 21.9mpg - much more like how it should be :wacky:

@bertiejaffa and I will remember Applecross Day as Red Van Man Day . I'd love to see Bertie's dashcam of the event.

I don't know how long the sound will stay on the video as it has music that may become muted...

The vid is in private mode buddy, can't view it.

It's now unlisted. It has a copyright claim against it, but I can still hear the sound. It's not as loud as it really was because the GoPro was fully sealed.

I've logged out of Youtube and can view it, so you should be able to view it now.

Had a great weekend on my first Zroadster tour and it was nice to put faces to 'online handles'. You are all lovely bunch of people with great camaraderie and thanks for making me and my Co-driver, Gemma's trip so good. Thanks from both of us. Special thanks to @Stevo7682 for servicing my molten brakes and @Mrs Stevo for organising such a great trip. Think they even organised the weather. Still trying to sort through all the snaps and videos of the trip. I'll be able to add things in over the weekend...maybe a montage!

Lovely to meet you last weekend @Pingu . Got some excellent footage with beautiful exhaust notes coming out of your M. Trying to piece together something watchable.

Just had a quick catch up on this thread, looks like I missed a Corker :meh:.
Fantastic pictures and video clips folks, you got great weather as well .

Edit: Ended up posting this very late last night with droopy eyes.

Highlight video with a bit of directors license on my part splicing together a video of the tour. Hope you catch a peak of your car, hope you enjoy the video and that it reminds you of the great weekend up in Skye. Once again, pleasure to meet you all and looking forward to getting to know you all better on future tours.

Way out West?

Way out West?
Not a whole lot further west than where we were =)).
But got 2 good solid trains of thought for next year.
One slightly more ambitious got to be honest that's probably the one leaning towards as it has a hotel I like that I know is good and I've never been to where day 1 would go .:)
