I'm sitting on the fence
Not sure you've made that clear enough, would you care to expand? If you studied me through the world's most powerful microscope for a thousand years you still wouldn't be able to see my interest in football. The last game I watched was the 1962 cup final. But for those that do, inexplicably, enjoy it, I guess it is a good thing that they are playing again.

IfLove or hate football, or indeed any other sport, both watching and participating is and has always been an important social activity. It has always been a bit of a safety valve for the masses.
Restart of the PL is seemingly being done in a safe a way as possible, but, I have mixed opinions. It has always been used as a distraction from conditions and issues in wider society. While many can't themselves play at the moment, I think the balance and protections are being used to make it safe for professional sports to restart - it is for the wider social good. Personally, I would have liked a couple more weeks delay, but, whether you like football or not, it is serving an important purpose in our recovery from the last four dreadful months.
It is managed and de-risked as far as possible, not like recent public events we have witnessed.
And, if City beat Arsenal, then it has done its job![]()

Agree. I grew up with rugby union. Theres a difference between the two:Frankly, couldn't give a hoot if football never started again. But for those that enjoy those over paid prima donna's prancing around a field doing better dives than Tom Daley then I guess it's a good thing.![]()
Well if you're going to watch it that's the way to do it.I was happy. I'm an unfortunate Sunderland fan, so nice to watch teams who can actually play football without raising my bloody pressureView attachment 146601

Love footy, ok with all the money there are things wrong at the top, but it's the responsibility of the FA to sort that out. Money talks so I won't hold my breath.
