6 cylinders here is a bit harsh, especially when my truck is a 3.2 l Turbo 4 cylinder, and the z is only a 2.0l. doesn't really make sense does it ?..

Depending how you work it out, BOE, RPI or CPI the cost of road tax is pretty much back to where it was way back in

You could buy a LOT of beer, petrol or both for £12 10s

Agree, but originally Road Tax was raised to spend on the roads (clue is in its name); today it goes into general revenue and the roads are crap.

and a lot of road workers need a lot of transit vans to sit in drinking tea all day. After all, they don't want to finish the job too quickly coz they'll just get sent to do another. and putting out all them cones is thirsty work.
