It was lovely to meet up with all our friends today :p
We had a great chat and picnic :)
It was a bit windy and also nippy but at least it didn't rain ;)

So here is the receipt for the scones :)

75g butter chilled and cut into cubes
350g SR flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
60g caster sugar
75g saltanas
150ml milk
2 eggs
 
Believe it or not I've caught the sun today :p
 
Really, are you sure it isn't wind burn. Lol. Actually the sun came out on the way home and we kept the roof down.

We enjoyed our day despite the wind & lack of temperature & bit disappointed with the lack of activities as well - however, good company made up for all that. :)
Furthermore, it was a day of the most incredible coincidences regarding my fathers past history in aviation after speaking to the gentleman in the flight simulator room - unbelievable!! But I won't bore you with the details! :thumbsup: Did anyone have a go on the simulator?
 
Thanks everyone for the pics!! Wish I was there as it combined my love of street rods, customs and Zeds all in one place! Nice to see everyone after the winter enjoying the co of others even though a bit cool! JIM
 
I'm pleased you all had a good time although it doesn't look like they had a big turn out. 2015, the Classic field where you parked was full and the general parking on the right of the entrance road was busy as well. Granted the weather was better that year, but it does look a lot quieter. Maybe just a bit too early in the year.

Looks like you all had a good day. We were busy wirh fellow Zedders this weekend or we would have joined you. Especially for one of your scones Shelly:thumbsup:
 
I didn't realise there was a meet going on!!!! I live in attleborough (literally 2-3 miles from the meeting point) I would have brought my white E85 along had I have known! That will teach me for being inactive on forums :(

Most of us travelled through Attleborough as we met up at Bunns Bank before going onto Old Buck!
 
Lovely day out blew the cobwebs out.
