As it says in the title, I’m looking for a good quality silver - chrome-effect - OEM gearstick knob OR a really good central graphic part (the 5 speed and reverse graphic). It’s the graphic that’s had water/condensation get into it and it’s ruined the gearstick and how it looks.

Bump. Has anyone of these, please?

I can recommend this one. I bought it from a forum member a few years ago. Might still be available from BMW.

This part is no longer available, I’m afraid.

Exactly like mine. I took it off and stored away as its part of the car. Opted for a newer ine which is also a good bit shorter, makes gear changing easier.

Id like to think these days a good 3D printer would do a replacement internal "M" and numbered gears...

I don’t know what they are stuck down with but could try gently heating with a hair dryer and using a plastic pry tool to insert and lift it up.
Worth a try then, thanks. An upholstery tool, I’m assuming you mean like something used to remove the door cards but thinner?
