Purchased a slightly used (474 miles) 2025 G29 6MT M40i less than two months ago and have put 4,000 miles on it in that time.

Love, love love this car. Glad to learn from fellow owners. Already bought Bimmercode and starting tweaking things. What a great car.

The B58 engine is definitely one of BMW's finer efforts in recent times. My old one (not in a Zed), which had the BMW power upgrade, would do over 50mpg on a motorway (freeway) at 70mph ish. Incredible for a heavy car with lots of power.

Wow, my best on a long trip in Eco mode (the only time that mode is used) so far has been ~34 mpg, but for some reason I have a hard time keeping out my right foot out of the throttle so my mileage usually is way less
