Decided to plumb for the local fitter in Stockport Manchester purely to keep the miles down on the car and a simple life.
Stockport is only 10 miles away, 45 minutes.
Alternative of Swansea is 4 1/2 hrs and long day there and back, unlikely at either but if something goes wrong local is easier to return too.
Prices locally £1100, Swansea £600. Fair old difference in price but all in all I'd probably save £200 going south
Roof has had its day, no idea how it's become worn considering the 17k miles on the clock, I can only assume lack of care..
Anyway, 17th is new roof day, looking forward to it.
