Welcome Lawrence, good choice in zeds and looks like you have some work to do there too but it should be a real beauty once fixed up. I like the RC plane too, used to do some of that too in my earlier days too it was great fun.
oh yeah , seems like we have been there so many times .. the Giant Scale Planes are hard to shake .... they fly so real ... and if your crash mm you can still go home for lunch .. fun stuff

Welcome Lawrence from Romania!
We love to have petrol heads on this forum.
You live in a beautiful place for a Zed and especially an M!
Wish you luck and fun because you will not have too many troubles with the Zed...apart the speed limit!

The original finish on the wheels of early ///M's was an almost chrome finish so if you can get as near to that it will add some originality back to your zed. The other option which many take is to replicate the shadow chrome finish of the later S54 models where the wheels are given a black base coat and silver is sprayed over the black leaving a semi transparent finish so the black shows through. They are then clear coated to seal them and protect from the road elements.

Welcome Lawrence, from the Scottish Highlands where there are still some pockets of snow on the mountains.
