Write Up Mints Peaks Drive 24 May 2026

[Mint]

A great day out with old friends around our usual playground. Met up with @Grumps & Jue and @Bozzy & @Amy H in a very good coffee shop in Brailsford. After the obligatory coffee and pastry we set off for a drive up towards the Macclesfield Forest for a picnic stop. Then back to finish at Fairways Garden Centre in Ashbourne.
A superb day, circa 125 miles, wall to wall sunshine all day so roof down and toneau cover on. Next to no traffic considering it was Bank Holiday Sunday so overall a brilliant day

Twas very lovely indeed! Always nice to catch up with me olds and the bozzies . Couldn't have asked for better weather, just glorious! I even bont me drivers arm!

Out in familiar territory you lot, and what a glorious day for it. We could well have been on those roads as we are most weeks, but we were booked in to a car show yesterday. Must enjoy this weather while it lasts.
