As @Grumps couldn't make the last run of this cruise, we did it again today. So 'The Mints', @Bozzy and @Grumps met up by Carsington Water for coffee/tea before starting our cruise. We first headed North up to Baslow then on to Hathersage before stopping at Hope for a toilet break.;) Then on to Castleton and up Wynatts Pass. Round the Edale loop and back to Hope before going South to Tideswell and Millers Dale ending up at Brierlow Bar for Lunch. After Lunch we went West of Longnor on some lovely sweeping roads before heading through the Wetton Tunnel and a small ford before arriving at Ilam for a tea stop.
It's been a tops down day all day and it was good to spend time with old friends. Great weather, great roads, great scenery and of course great company. Here are some of my photos of the day, more may be along later...

Looks like a good day. Spotted @Grumps coming through Matlock Bath we were going the other way after having a little run up to Hope where we bumped into Mozza and Andrea, first time we have had the chance to meet since last September

I used to have blue Z3 :( Anyone with a grey Z4 fancy a cruise

Yep we've had a fantastic day Dave, thanks for organising it for us. The route was great and we've had more than acceptable weather all day :). Lovely to see The mint's Dave and Pauline and the Bozzys Steve and Sara. The panini's we're superb! :hungry:

I don't know how you manage to remember all those place names @Mint :wideyed:.

Team blue back in action for another superb zedding day:rally:.

Thoroughly enjoyed the whole day with top guys and gals.
Didn't seem to get chance to take any pics though , yours are great though Dave .

The weather was fine for me, lightly overcast and dry :).

My favourite pic of the day won't open properly to view so you have to press the tab. (My last picture if anyone is interested)

Great pics great route
I feel the need to do it again
Will I need a repaint/colour change

I whistled through Hope but in the afternoon - get my timing right one of these days. Had popped in to a Vintage Car display at Wortley Hall (local) in the morning, very enjoyable. But as I left that I thought - do I just go home? Nope, of course not ! Cobwebs need blowing away, favourite Strines Road into Hope / Castleton here I come! Somehow missed the Hope Valley turn so just bobbed in to Castleton for the necessary.

Was nice out, lot of paragliders there - were they flying off Mam Tor?
