Whilst here on holiday we had the opportunity to meet up with fellow forum member @Murray Wall . It was the furthest we have ever been for a forum meet, just under 12,000 miles:eek: I think we may have the forum record for the longest trip:whistle:.
We called in to see Murray and his Zeds and very nice they were too. A lovely Sienna Red 3.0 and a Mora 2.0. After the static photos Murray said "Are you missing driving your Zed, would you like to go out for a drive?" What could I say, I was in the driving seat before he changed his mind and off we went. A superb 20 mins or so through some great countryside and I came back with a grin from ear to ear, it was fantastic.
So... :thankyou:Murray for your hospitality and the offer of a drive. If you ever find yourself in our neck of the woods we will return the favour, I'm sure you'd enjoy a UK cruise.

Pics or it didn't happen;)...

Just adding my thanks as well :thankyou:

Did Dave mention he was happy, he was like a Cheshire cat when he got back, I think he is missing his Z3 so I think he'll be out in it as soon as he can :)

Oh no just remembered he SORNed it till the end of January :( never mind he'll be too jet lagged anyway :p

Great pics and very nice to offer a drive  Look at that blue sky :arghh:

Looks like it was a good meet up. Good of @Murray Wall to let you take the Z for a spin. Bet your glad to be back in all this s*** weather

Great photos @Mint :p

Superb stuff Dave. Amazing how far people go on this forum, meeting at the other side of the world, Mechanical help, moving stuff around the country, never ceases to amaze me honestly. :)
How did you find the 3.0 Dave?

Superb mate, although max speed in NZ is 60MPH but she was great up to that. Good round the corners too, much better than the rental car:whistle:.

And what was the rental car Dave? o_O

Actually I do know what they are, just joking with you :)

They were/are Toyota Corolla Sedans, both automatic and both a heap of ???? I think Dave will agree. Certainly will not be rushing out to buy one anytime soon :p

Oooh dear Lol! Think Dave was being a bit tight with the rentals! =))

Looks like you both had a great time.. and what great hospitality from a forum member. A good result all round.

Not that bad and in fairness the second one although newer with more miles was better than the first. The red one handled like a boat;).

Sounds like you had a great time

Great photos.
A great meet.
The only problem is that you left the lovely weather over there.

Nice one @Murray Wall

Welcome back both!:)
