After receiving some PMs from new forum members asking to go on one of our Peaks runs...today was the day.:)
Old hands @Bozzy, @Sean d and the Mints were joined by @Craig Machin, @ktnez99 and @AlanZ.
We all met up by Carsington Water for brekkie before starting our cruise. We first headed North up to Baslow then on to Hathersage before stopping at Hope for a toilet break.;) Then on to Castleton and up Wynatts Pass. Round the Edale loop and back to Hope before going South to Tideswell and Millers Dale ending up at Brierlow Bar for Lunch. After Lunch we went West of Longnor on some lovely sweeping roads before heading through the Wetton Tunnel and a small ford before arriving at Ilam for a tea stop.
We had the tops down all day on the cruise but unfortunately had to put it up on the way home as the rain started. It was good to spend time with new members and of course old friends. Great weather, great roads, great scenery and of course great company. Here are some of my photos of the day, I'm sure more will be along soon:whistle:

Thanks for a superb day of zedding, really enjoyed it.
Great to meet some new zedders and catch up with some old mates.

I fitted some specially tailored cow poop deflectors in anticipation of some rural excursion

Great pictures folks, glad you all had a great day, shame the weather let you down at the end but better that then at the start.:)

Tony.

What a belting weekend we had, a great night out in Matlock last night followed by a belting run today with a cracking mix of roads, got a bit quick over the top and certainly mints 2.2 put my 2.8 to the test, thanks for putting it together Dave and Pauline, we loved it well Carrie loved most of it

looks like great day out had by everyone.. reminds me i must get a move on and sort a local run out just up to my eyes at the moment with the 2.8 project...

looking forward to catching up with a few of you at zedfest again..

Al, Angela.
