Well, we've been back a few days now so thought I'd post about our Euro trip this year. We went down to Ashford for a night in The Holiday Inn before catching the Channel Tunnel crossing on Sunday morning. We drove across to Slenaken in The Netherlands and stopped for a couple of days in a hotel there we've used before. A couple of drives out before moving on to Germany, stopping in Ingolstadt for a night including a bit of fun on the Autobhan. We then moved into Austria for 3 days stopping in Kaprun close by Zell am See. The main reason for going to Austria was to drive the Grossglockner High Alpine road. It was superb and did not disappoint. Our return trip home was back through Germany & France. Altogether 2,329 miles at an average of 36.8mpg. A great road trip, roll on the next one.

Wow, excellent pictures Dave :snaphappy: .
Looks to have been a great road trip with a mix of Europe's fastest roads and some lovely scenic twisty bits :coolsteer).

I take it by one of the shots you went up to the top point viewing area on the Grossglockner. Great view and nice pics

Great pictures Dave, I notice in the first set, no.4, your Z attracted someone to park right next to it. Why do they do that?
In the second set, the water fall picture is just fantastic mate.

Tony.

Yes we parked up on our own at an American War memorial and yes when we returned somebody had parked right next to us, in an empty car park.
Very lucky with the waterfall photo, you wouldn't know it but that was very, very busy there;)

Looks like the closest your car ever got to driving 'through' the snow:

True Frankie, we touched the snow but the car didn't ;)

Certainly are, but my photo is not as good as yours ;)
Borrowed from Google :ymdevil:. Digital cameras weren't around when we were there!
