Bella day today. Set of at 09:30hrs and returned at 15:00hrs. 140 miles and went past 98k miles.
A595/A66 to Pooley Bridge, past Ulswater and on up to the Kirkstone Pass and down into Windermere. On through Ambleside then over Langdale Pass, Wrynose Pass and Hardknott Pass. Down to Ulpha via Birker Fell then rejoined the A595 West Coast road for some fast sweeping stuff to home. Reasonably clear drive apart from a couple of crowded places but a glorious free flowing day all in all.
Needed to pop into B&Q Workington first, got there at 09:40 to join the Q, all very orderly and compliant, I was about 30th in line on arrival but the Q grew to circa 100. The chap in front of me heard is lad cry out from the car 'Daaaaaad, I want a wee'. Anyway, he re-joined at the back of the Q. Shame
