As the weather was forecast good (and confirmed now as the hottest New Years Eve on record), we decided on a final drive of 2021. A meandering route from home to The Old Hall Hotel, Hope via Uttoxeter, Rocester, Onecote, Longnor, Millers Dale, Tideswell, then around the Edale loop before lunch. Home via Hathersage, Grindleford, Bakewell, Monyash Ashbourne and Uttoxeter. Over 120 top down miles on the 31st December without a coat on. Unbelievable:happy:.

Happy and Safe New Year everybody, lets hope we can all get out a bit more in 2022.

I couldnt think of anything better to be doing today.
Only by ending up in a curry house would be my suggestion...........................but I already have that t-shirt:whistle:;)

Great photos you chaps, lovely yesterday here in Derbyshire Dave. Andy gets the bravery/ barmy award for riding his bike over Buttertub in that weather!:D

 Lucky mate. Hasn't stopped raining here for the past week. Zed has been ready for a run out, Christmas present has now been fitted and today? Still raining!

Looks like a great run.
It looked dry and sunny here this morning, so I got the top down and off I went. Within 10 minutes sky became very dark and we had an almighty down pour, but there was nowhere safe to pull over and put the hood up. I discovered that if you maintain at least 40 mph, very little rain comes in. Got some strange looks, but great fun.

Nice run and weather for it Dave -
Couldnt make it out yesterday, but managed a good 2-3 hours top down run this morning, on some familar roads to some ;)
Unfortunately the kettle wasnt working I dont think

Good effort there Andy on the 'tubs - love it up there but do prefer the weather a little kinder - typical Yorkshire summers day there :D

Have you managed to get out yet Niall?

Kettle was working mate, you were just in the wrong place.;)=))

Tony.

'Forthcoming Events' , plus often informal local meet/criuse days to look out for, but not much usually until Spring.

Yes mate had a great drive around the west country yesterday. Dropped into Glastonbury to see the Abbey and the Hippys. 140 miles of cold but sunny roof down zedding......perfect.

Excellent news Niall, was good here yesterday too but I'm still isolating so confined to barracks.:(

Lovely set of pictures. It would be great to meet up with you guys sometime. :)
