Bella hasn't turned a wheel for some time, we've been drowning since November 2023 (those Lakes don't get filled by magic) and other reasons. Anyway, today was the day! I needed to bed in my new driving cap so off out into the Lakes to do just that. A full 360 of Bassenthwaite and through Caldbeck Common, Newlands Vally Pass, Buttermere, Honister Pass, Borrowdale, Keswick and home. 108 miles later ....... cap bedded in and functional 😁 After 9 years of ownership this amazing car just staggers me and puts a mahoosive smile on my face every time, if Carlsberg did cars .......

A mahoosive smile ? You look about as happy as ole Grumps mate. ;)=))
Glad it's dried up enough to let you get out though Andy.
Mine had its first clean since before Christmas this afternoon.

Well ready too, it was loppy.

Tony.

Ps is 108 miles the recommended running in period for all driving caps or does it vary?
And does it need a running in service e after that?
108 miles is a minimum I believe. You need to leave them to settle until the following weekend when another mandatory 75 mile drive is required to ensure it's bedded in as designed. HTH =))

Looks like another brilliant day in the Lakes. I know it's a hard job but someone has to check the roads there. Well done Andy;)

Love the stance of the car Andy, it looks really well.

Love the wheels too 😉
