Does anyone else constantly look for things to 'invest' money in for their zed?
I'm forever on ebay and gumtree and browsing here and there.
Ordered some red leather gaiters for the gear stick and handbrake tonight

To be honest Dave, that's why I bought my Z4, ok it's 13 years old, but it has only covered 23,000 miles now and the bodywork is really good. so I'm hoping for very little body care over the years. Mechanical bolt on bits are easy.

Apparently it's a "Chicken's ass" mate, so I'm told. There's bits of both cars I like and like not so much. Even the E89 is a mixture of the two cars, they have the clam shell bonnet which I really like, not that keen on the folding tin top though, I like a soft top roadster. The centre console of the E89 is more like the Z3 than the Z4. Wonder what the Z5 will turn out like?

I always thought the z3 was a bit 'weak' at the back, the widebody helps a lot, as does having it lowered, but fit a hardtop and its a different car! Added to that ive had the window tinted it looks even better! ive considered a spoiler but I'm undecided as yet, as tony says it doesn't grow on trees!

Did you look at my Z3 strut brace pictures last night Davey?

Really easy mate. Just bolt the strut top mounts on and adjust the ends out, drop between the lugs and it will show you where to drill fresh holes. Be brave,;)
