As we both had a day off today and the weather looked "OK" we thought we'd head out the coast for Lunch. Running over the bridge into the land of webbed feet we ran through Lincoln passed @t-tony old work establishment and onto Skegness. Not a natural choice to be honest but it has really been smartened up and was actually very pleasant. A spot of lunch at Wolfies wine bar and then a stroll along the front and down the pier.
We then drove back via Gainsborough and Retford back home. 165 miles of roof down motoring, just what was needed after a tough few weeks.

Great pics Dave of what looks like a fab day, just the tonic :thumbsup:.
Nowt wrong wi Skeg, as you said it's much cleaner and tidier now.

Cloudy this morning but no rain, the time there and run back were lovely mate.

Another one who's not been to Skeg Vegas for a few years. Interesting to hear that it's scrubbed up a bit. If it ever stops raining, we might just have to take a run out there.

And string underpants! Now that’s a disturbing image that will stick with you for ages =))

Nice to know Skeggy has smartened up. Not been there since 1976 when several of us had a week there after doing O-levels. Time to go back!
 
Sounds like their could be a Zed road trip to Skeggy forming. Always up for a run to the coast
