TV star at Newark Showground this afternoon. This Mk.1 Cortina was the subject on an episode of Car SOS and in the middle picture you can see the proud owner, George, who has the chippy 100yds up the street from my work.

Soon after I saw this dodgy looking pair, who looked like they were trying to Hotwire this lovely Z3!=)) I think the one in the hat was acting as look out.;)

Brilliant turn out today, don't know how many cars but the field was full.

But the highlight of the afternoon had to be when we landed back at home Toby called for a coffee and took me out for a spin in his pocket rocket. What a car :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup: Thanks mate, made my day.:)

Looks like there was a good turnout Tony. You have probably worked out I didn't make it. I got involved doing few jobs around the house that took longer than expected. :(
 
Cracking weather for it really, cant believe how many cars turned up - easy money really. Wish I had spotted those two dodgy characters, I've have found em the keys :D

My late brother Martin's first car was one of those, only a four door version. Reg. no. was 8910 VT. Would be worth a few sheckles now.;)

Looks like you've had a good afternoon. Wish I could have attended but to much on today to make good of anything. My run in the Zed was down to East mids airport and back. :arghh:
 
Was a great day out, some top quality cars. Highlight for me was an Focus RS with air suspension reeving his engine. Then an v8 Cobra started his - when he was leaving. There was an upraw of laughter.
 
It's been great Dave, absolutely loads of cars and sun was hot so the gentle breeze was very welcome. The "foot long" Lincolnshire sausage torpedos at £4 didn't look to be doing a roaring trade though :thumbsup:

Great day out with a big turnout for the organisers. Can't believe didn't get any pics just got caught up in the moment. My friend Stewart enjoyed the day and remarked how well the Z's were turned out. Had a real good chat with Sean about his ice system which I think works real nice with the vibe speakers, quality sound without a amp, maybe the route for others to go down, too late for me with the Hertz kit I have plus in line amp, was very-impressed with Sean's Z and the work that's gone into it. Left a little earlier knowing how the traffic builds up after 4pm south bound on the A1 and it paid off getting back for 5.15pm.

Good call Roy, you made good time at that mate. Sorry we didn't get to chat more. Enjoyed the cars but didn't take that many pictures either. Take care pal.

@Rha when you have really good looks you don't need a short skirt (it was in the wash) you just need a freshly boiled kettle !!

Sorry we missed this one @t-tony, Sandy had her eye operation last week so unable to do anything much for the next three weeks. Perhaps we'll catch up later in the year.

I heard this was a good day. I had some TVR friends there as well as some mates in lotus's and a VX. He sent up his drone for a good photo
