Write Up Frankie's & Miller's American ///M Adventure

I don't think so but now I have to go back in look at the tape. Exactly where are you talking about. Look at where you saw this and look at the time on the tape so I can look at that time too. Frankie

That obviously doesn't apply to test drives in Z3 ///;M's...WOW!!!!!!!!!! Can't be any clearer than THAT!!!! Should have been TICKET TIME. What a laugh that would have been. If you'll notice, I said: "Yeah, make a left here." I can see the cop coming up to the car and Hugh saying "He told me to make a left here." I would have of course replied: "WHO ME? I'VE NEVER BEEN HERE BEFORE" Then Hugh would have had 2 trophies, er....I mean tickets.

Another great video Frankie. I especially liked your run down the "Strip" in Vegas, that brought back a lot of good memories of when Shirl and me went there a few years ago. Hugh said "Crazy", exactly what I said to Shirl one night as we went for a stroll down the strip, also what you said too, " I don't know where to look next" it does affect you like that, there is just so much to take in. A fantastic place.:)

I may be picky, but where are the tiny twisty turny roads, are they all dead straight in America?

Mike

They build roads much like the Romans used to.

What a brilliant picture :)
Makes you feel like your in the photo :)

I always like to take a unusual pic,and this was a great sunset ,and we still had 200 miles to Amarillo it Was getting dark and we were wearing sunglasses driving a ///m look at the sexy wheel arch ooooeerrrrView attachment 13927
OK Hugh. I'm going to post the big one now. This vid has Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon. These are the places where the height was overwhelming. The other forum members know you got it for speeding but we had started to get into a more populated place with more cops. What they haven't seen until now is leading up to that point where we went for hundreds of miles without having to worry about speed limits and police. The countryside will support this. Here we are really driving in the middle of nowhere. The speed is what you want to do and are able to do, and we DID JUST THAT. ...............

Saving that for the weekend Frankie. Got to be a better watch that what's on offer these days.

Tony.

Ihad sweaty palms watching that!

Wimp!! You're as bad as Frankie Gaz.=)) You should try a Helicopter flight over , across, and down the Grand Canyon. Man, that's something else, just as the sun is going down.

Tony.

ps. I haven't watched it yet !

I've flown loads in light aircraft and it doesn't bother me in the slightest. Its when I'm stood on the ground near this sort of thing I can't stand.

Still thinking about my trip.some of the things that make you a little nervous ,flying ,remember your passport ,drive on the wrong site of the road, rush hour traffic ,standing on the edge of the Grand Canyon ,being arrested in a foreign country, and quite a lot of others ,but I can honestly say that the most scarey thing is this.............

Actually it bothered me a little, but only when I was doing over 100mph.

Not only that you, Hugh and Frankie made beautiful memories , but you were also well prepared to share: gorgeous pics and videos!
I feel like being there...
And once, few years ago, Frankie laughed when I told him about Road 66 trip on the bucket list!
Who would believe it ?
Thank you very much, both of you, for these single moments!:)
