All the way to Le Mans and there’s only a French reg Z4 in black and a rather lovely British reg Jag XK 1950. Didn’t get to speak to the owner

so we left Le Mans at 12:30 today and just arrived in Bordeaux so time to sample some of the local produce

Thought it was time I updated progress on my road trip.
so 2 days in Marseille the weather was shocking so not much to report there, we passed through Monaco and over the boarder to Sanremo Italy weather not much better there. Anyway this morning we headed north through the French Alps and WOW what an awesome experience. Any one not done this, it’s one of life’s must do’s. The pictures speak for themselves

Last night to night so stopping in a Chateau bout 90 from Calais

Well final up date, returned home last night after a missive 2445 miles and I have to say the little Z3 has performed absolutely perfectley not so much as a missed beat, averaging 90 mpg on the French motorways for hours on end, fuel purchased 367 L so I’ve worked out it’s done just over 30mpg. Spotted 2 Z3s on my trip one French and one near Stamford on A1. Both flashed and waved.
