Tomorrow I’ll be embarking on a massive European tour at least 2500 miles in 10 days full length of France then into Italy. I will be posting regular updates and hopefully many pics. Starting milage 68567
Day one Retford North Notts to Le Mans France approx milage 515 so a big day

Dan, just noticed that one of the French cities you are travelling through is Rouen. It's a bit late now if you didn't know and I don't want to p**s on your chips but Rouen is classed as one of the French Low Emmission Zones and you'll need a Crit'Air vignette to drive through.

Last time I drove through France it was in my black Z3 2.2i sport in 2018. First stop was in Rouen and we had trouble finding our hotel. Must say I'm not a fan of driving in France, dodgy petrol, mostly automatic petrol stations often not working. Wise not to let your tank get too low and nowhere open at night. Had to just sit in the car and wait until morning for fuel on one trip.

Well arrived at Le Mans at 5pm last night, journey took exactly 12 hrs including car ferry, 496 miles clocked up and have to say little z3 performed perfectly 80-90 mph all through France

I highly recommend it. Beaufort is a lovely swiss style French town, nice stop over for the night.
