Euro Road trip updates

I bet you cant wait till you go Karl, have an awsome trip mate.

Well we have just worked out how much our little 3420ml holiday cost us and we a quite astounded.
We paid before we went
£580 for villa and ferry
We took
£1000 cash
Used
£700 on card
and came back with £200
so in total we spent £2080
That was for the following

Fuel for 3420 miles at around 33mpg
Tolls from Javea to Como
8 Hotels
Food and Drink for 15 Days
2 Bed Villa
Ferry
So compare that with flying holidays now a days and we have had an excellent holiday seeing things and going to places we wouldnt do or go to Flying.
So all in all i consider this to of been a very cheap holiday.

That's not bad at all. Our flights to the uk alone cost more than that
 
That cheap am looking at doing it again in 2014. Would do it next year but we are going to Africa and can not get enough time off to do both as we are looking at upgrading zeddy

Already planning that if this one goes well we will drive down through Italy and get the ferry across to Greece and drive through Greece to visit Mrs Zed's dad.
 
I am looking at doing about 5 nights in the Alps and a week in Villa around Taragoza. Starting looking at routes now but not making them as long so i can do drive and sight seeing this time :D
