Write Up Doncaster Show.

Doncaster welcomed us with warm sunshine and the large BMWCC/Zroadster display was soon organized and enhanced with the addition of a new large gazeebo courtesy of BMWCC. However, when the rain arrived it was sudden and heavy which caused a scramble to put tops up. Unfortunately Andy had chosen to wander off to find a Greggs leaving his E85 to fill with rain! It was soon towelled dry when the rain stopped. A good display of 'zeds' plus a wide variety of desirable BM s.

Not with our display, this E86 3.0Si was a very nice example, a proper 'Coupe'. I think one of our members spoke to the owner and gave him a card.

I think I would have lost that too tbh.

Both Rob & Tony's seem to collect the beads into bigger puddles which could then run off. My beads remain smaller, which is a nuisance as the water then collects dust as it dries and leaves little drop marks.

That was on standard Meguiar's ultimate wax. Perhaps its time to add a ceramic wax to see if that improves matters. Actually. That's probably an excuse for an extra clay bar session too . . .

Now if I could just get a weekend off so I can enjoy a really good fettling session . . .
