Just bought two rear light clusters to remove the orange indicators - but one looks brand new and one looks a lot older didn’t notice until I fitted them on the car !
just wondering if there is anyway of making the old one look newer ?? or is it just cleaning ?? Any magic tricks anyone ??

Try compound and ideally a buffer on a drill attachment or buy a headlamp cleaning kit (about £20)

Polish is an abrasive, that and some elbow grease, a hard pad on a drill or random orbit device will get that off. Surprised if it's inside. Just get some polish by hand on a small area to see it the outside changes it. Good luck. Degrease first with washing up liquid and a rinse to remove any previous waxes and polish residues.

Greygate plastic polish. Used it on my headlights to remove scratches and sun bleaching and it works really well. Apparently it was developed for helicopter screens! Can be found for around £10. Others on here have used it.

If its on the inside wash out take off lamp removing all electrical elements and wash light out with warm soapy water rinse and allow to dry thoroughly.
If outside like others have said Meguiars Plast rx great stuff use it on your rear window and headlights as well .
Stephen.

I think I might be being a bit picky - in reference to my rear lights - it’s just the left looks new I mean brand new and the right is obviously older - don’t think there is much I can do just might have to try and find one that matches one of them better - think it will have to be a swap over
