Chit authorised so off to them there hills :D 140 miles and 6 hours of roof down bliss with glorious sun :cool:

A595 West Coast road from Whitehaven to South Lakes. A long scenic route with fast sweeping curves. Scurted past Conister then up to Dale Head, over Hardknott Pass (twice @Mint :D) back over then on to Wrynose Pass. On up to the Kirkstone in via the Struggle then down towards Pooley Bridge where I rejoined the A66 and ònto the A595 and home.

I remember on Sunday you said it did rain a lot in the lakes.....but having seen the clip, it sure is beautiful when it doesn't!

When it's bad its bad but when it's good it's just sublime. Not to shabby for a back garden :D
 
You could never get bored of that pal, wish my back garden was half as good
