had a great day at curborough sprint course near Lichfield staffs
Organised by a local group called flat out track days
Very well run event, sprint times recorded so improvements could be seen ..only one car on the track at a time against the clock
Cost was good price for all day at £60 with plenty of track time available
 
Cool. What's a good time and how did your & your Zed compare to it's rivals?
 
Sounds like a good way to spend a day in your zed,not expensive either :thumbsup:.
Wouldn't mind having a go at that myself .

Worth a run over matey .....we pop over the odd Sunday as its a busy lil track and normally free to get in and watch

It's about 5 mins from the national arboretum

Was told a good time was 1.40 in the dry .....very wet to start off with,first run I did was 2.11.... Best time I got was 1.52 but had no intention of taking any risks in the old boy...track took some drying off
Plenty of cleo cups there and few which were trailered in....most serious track day gear
Beauty of this you were only competing against yourself and it did motivate you to beat your last time and improve
The guys that run them are bmw nuts to which helps

Was that on Sunday ? Nearly turned up as a mate was competing in the Lotus Speed Champs. but was otherwise busy :(
