A day without children, so took a rare early morning trip down to Midhurst with Mrs Jam03 for breakfast. Nice bit of sunshine so top down most of the way, even though it was very chilly. I can highly recommended the full English.

I hate restaurants that do all the 'trendy' stuff. Food on a slate or board, chips in little tea strainers etc, etc. A big plate please, with all the food on there and preferably a dead animal included.

It's the same as pies. They seem to come in a small ceramic bowl. The best bit of the pie is the moist gravy soaked pastry around the bottom and sides of the pie. Now all I get is a bit of stew with some pastry on the top. It's made even worse as I am a vegetarian and hardly anyone does veggie pies anyway. I'm getting oldIs it me? Am I getting old?
